Nurse in a mental institution, Joachim gets stuck in the hospital for new year’s eve, while his girlfriend and family awaits him at home. Alone with the patients excited to celebrate the passing year, he is quickly overwhelmed. But madness is not always where we expect it to be…

For this comedy in stereoscopic 3D, we made a parallel in the opening titles between Joachim’s family very traditional everyday life, cheesy Christmas cards and chestnut-stuffed turkey, and the touches of sweet madness the hospital patients forces into his habits.
We developed a visualisation of text messages quite similar to those of Sherlock, but in a more comical way : the texts pop in different fonts and colors, a different one being associated with each character sending the message. And every time, the animation reflects the tone of the message : it will bark at the character when he’s being told off by his girlfriend, or on the contrary sheepishly appear when he reluctantly replies…
